The Lower Cape Coyotes is a non-profit youth hockey program serving the Lower Cape Cod area, made up of Harwich, Chatham, Brewster, Orleans, Eastham, Welfleet, Truro, and Provincetown. We operate out of Charles Moore Arena in Orleans.
The Coyotes currently put teams on the ice in the Mini-Mite, Mite, Squirt, PeeWee and Jr. High divisions. Through a partnership with Nauset United, we now also offer a Learn-to-Play program! Through these programs, we cover children from ages 5 - 14. These teams play in Cape League , a local travel league covering the Cape and the Islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. The Jr. High Team will take part in an off-Cape travel program for the 08/09 season.
We also run 3 tournaments each year in the Mite, Squirt, and PeeWee division. See our Tournament tab at the top of the page for more information about these.
We are enjoying growth in the program right now, especially at the younger age groups, and we are always welcoming new players. We believe in the benefits of sport and specifically hockey for a child's growth and development as individuals.
See our Getting Started section for more details on each level of play.
